Small Forum SPAM BAM!

Hi, I run a small board phpbb3 and have been getting a lot of foreign registrations lately, some sex link posting and such, been deleting users and banning ISP's. Don't know anything about forum spam til now thanks to this board, and one address that I googled is the way I found you (maxgeorg-business@yahoo.co.uk), not quite sure how that works or if this address is good or evil? ha!

Anyway, where should I start? I don't know codes at all. I wonder, does a phpbb3 have any great features that I can access to help stop this nonsense? Thankfully, I watch and monitor the board daily, so I was able to see a pattern of forum domains and did some checking (whois) and see a lot of RU, UK, Germany, British Isles, DE, etc,,etc...etc... foreign accounts of which I believe are all hocus pocus now. Such a shame what we've come to in marketing. Ridiculous really. Ah well, whatever you can tell me to help me to begin my spam slamming journey, please, I would appreciate anything you have to say.
