Reported as a spammer
Hello, apparently I have been reported as a spammer//troll or my IP address 175.176.87.4. Since I live in the Philippines (retired US) I suspect my IP address prevents me from getting onto this site at https://forum.illyriad.co.uk/ I have tried here on this site to have that corrected but I keep getting an error stating that my IP address is not in your data base. I am not tech guy and I do not know what that means or how to correct my problem. Can someone help me please. Thanks so much.

Re: Reported as a spammer
Using the Search link (top-line above, NOT forum-search) I can find zero exact responses to your IP address. Likewise for your email address used to signup here. That means that SFS can never help you, since none of your IDs are listed here.
You need to contact illyriad.co.uk & ask them precisely why you are rejected on their forums.

Re: Reported as a spammer
I wonder if the way the algorithm is setup that the ".4" is caught as being "within" the string (not number) of ".45." Because the system picked up the ".4" within the ".45" and so triggered basically a "yes" when I just searched for his ip.
Hmmm?

Re: Reported as a spammer
$ curl http://api.stopforumspam.org/api?ip=175.176.87.4
<response success="true">
<type>ip</type>
<appears>no</appears> <====
<frequency>0</frequency>
The important line is the one I highlit.
If illyriad.co.uk are using wrong methods to obtain results from the API then yes, they too may get wrongful results, but that is hardly SFS's fault (although the bad result that NeoFox & I got from the Search page *is* SFS's fault).

Re: Reported as a spammer
api data is an exact match as the data is hashed in the redis db
search data, that's a wildcard for mySearchText*
