New, Need Suggestions
Hi, I have a website (Joomla 1.5) and forum (IPB). Its mostly a blog. My forums are not real active, mostly its a place where I organize my thoughts and people post from time to time.
Several months back, I went onto my forum and low and behold, there were a bunch of new posts that contained porn and also prescription drug advertisements. I was appalled. I was embarrassed because that's not what I am about, or my site!
My nephew still in high school normally helps me with my site, and I am fairlyl "illiterate". I know how to add my new blog articles, add graphics, etc. So luckily my webhost told me to go into cpanel and add ip addresses one at a time of folks who are spammers. I found your site by looking up ip addresses and finding folks on the spam list. Thanks!
So, my question is... how can I use Cpanel to block all people from Russia, Ukraine, and other foreign countries? I don't understand how to add ranges of ip's. Thanks for your help!

Re: New, Need Suggestions
I'd recommend passing on cPanel blocking and implement a filter instead;

If IPB ever bother to get back to me with a temp licence, I can code a mod for IPB (I'll have a look into Joomla though), in the meantime use a .htaccess file to block them;
... and welcome to SFS
