kej API should be to verify whether it concerns certain forums and not to allow anyone to block

Ill try this in an easy phrase
You need an API key to submit spammers
No API Key = No submit spammers

This looks kinda weird to me. Why should we not be able to block spammers? Maybe I am misunderstanding the post though.

Re: Data not submitted.
Okay MacHeadCase... I deleted my former post for fear of causing a flamewar...
but...
I support your position. Alarm bells went off regarding poisoning of the database when it seemed he wanted to prevent banning of certian URLs.
As far as I know, this is a negative aspect only database, and greenlighting is against the logic of it.
Thanks for letting me know I am not the only suspicious bastard around here.
And I checked out his username .com ... seems odd a Czech forum would be a .com, but whoomp there it is. Can't read a lick of it, but maybe diabolic.bg could sniff it out (assuming it's in a lang he can read.)
So yes... something smells rotten in Denmarcz.

Re: Data not submitted.
As I understand, .com .org .edu .net are valid anywhere in the world.
If I were in Australia (for example), I might register a domain in Bermuda, then have it served in Taiwan with Hindi language content. All without sinister motive.
In this case I could then legitimatly have registered the domin as .com .org .edu .net .au .bm (and possibly .tw)
National identifiers may be, but are not necessarily required, depending on the local regulatory body.
Anyone have a better informed understanding?

Re: Data not submitted.
In short, ANY TLD can be used by anyone, anywhere - they aren't country specific.

Forget I ever said:

The rest still applies.
Be nice to know if they are up to no good. Things are Badenov allready.
BTW... I think a .us can be dis-appropriated if found to be in use by a non-USA entity... I could be wrong, but I think it's about the only TLD that is that way. In otherwords, I am well aware of the ethereal nature of TLDs.

It appears to me he is merely trying to confirm that with an API key he (representing a forum) will be allowed to add spammers; and that without one, just any user (forum) will be unable to blacklist (block) spammers on this site.

True paranoia requires meticulous care, and attention to detail.
It must be nurtured with doubt and suspicion in the small hours of the day.

Re: Data not submitted.
I have an API key etc, but thought I'd add this here.
I've been submitting spam for a few days (I mean "legally", here, not spamming people) but am having more and more trouble getting it to accept the data. It's taken me ages today to get 3 or 4 through and it just won't accept my current one at all.
Have other people also had this problem?
This is a bit different but ...
I've found for the last couple of days that if I put all 4 components of an IP in it comes up saying 0 results - but if I take the last two parts out, it comes up with results - and they include entries identical to my starting point.
Sorry if this is covered somewhere else - I was just trying a quick visit.

Re: Data not submitted.
I kept a list of 9.
Today 5 of them return results on the full number.
These didn't
84.19.180.179
62.141.50.38
71.60.51.212
89.178.59.203
Thanks.
