203.177.74.138 is one of the proxy IP of Globe Telecom ISP here in the Philippines. I think it should not be block because some of my friends can't register in my forum.

It is best not to surf through a proxy server, as they are abused for sending spam, especially forum spam.

In regards to 203.177.74.138 ...

It is most certainly a spamming, if not downright dangerous IP. I don't see anyone removing it soon.

This ip have been white-listed by Project Honey Pot, but they had to blacklist it again due to abuse from via that ip:

Better to contact Globe Telecom ISP and tell them to filter out bad traffic via that ip.

If you feel it is safe, you can white list this ip in your forum.

Tell your friends to stop using the proxy

The philipines is notorious for spamming my forum, it was the 2nd country banned after China.

Oh, yes that IP is s a spammer IP

I have, since May 09, a legit member that has logged in at least once using this IP as well as 203.177.74.139. If I install ZB Block, will it keep this member out? I don't honestly understand all that it does. I tried to watch the video twice. Twice it put me to sleep.

ZB Block itself does not have that IP blocked.

BUT...

If you have the stop forum spam check on, or TOR check on, they could be blocked from logging in.

The SFS, HP-Hosts and TOR databases are beyond my control. But they only affect registration, confirmation, or login pages. And if any IP violates security 3 (or more, or less, zbblock.ini has a setting for this) times, they are permanently banned from your site with an ultra fast, and ultra low bandwidth consuming 503 page.

ZB Block, while anti-spam, is actually alot more potent at stopping hacks, RFI, LFI, SQLi, and other attacks on a site.
