VB SFS Broken since 2/2

I have the vBulletin mod installed and on 2/2, I started getting the REMOTEERR message for every registration. I uninstalled it and re-installed the latest version, but it didn't make any difference. I can still manually report users from the user panel, so I'm not sure what's up. Spammmers are now getting through.

Help!

There are several posts about this.  We changed hosts on this date and your host server , for some reason, seems to have broken DNS

That provides some background

Your hosts dns server isnt getting the correct IP for www.stopforumspam.com

Create a php file with this and upload it to your server

Your hosts DNS server seems broken.  PM/email me your domain name or the IP of the server so that I can check it before you raise a call with your hosting provider

I think I went to the right place in cPanel - Domain Lookup

I checedk our logs, nothing and the whois and dig result looks like your hosts DNS is seriously broken.  You should contact them Im afraid.

Try this, using OpenDNS for the info

nslookup www.stopforumspam.com 208.67.222.222

You should get

Funny, I just got an e-mail from my host about the number of spammers getting through. I replied with what I have, he's really good about following up.

He could add that ip to your /etc/hosts file.
