API Key usage for querying?
I know you need an API key to submit spammers, but do you need it when you query / search?
I tried searching the forum but 'api key' has way too many results.

Re: API Key usage for querying?
Nope, you dont, you can just query away freely without one.
If you go into the forum, youll see it there, not the clearest place and it will soon be moved

Re: API Key usage for querying?
Yeah, I gave it a test and it actually spit out some error code within the XML data that was returned...
You guys might want to consider having it an optional feature for query requests... Then you can gather statistics on like how many queries they make a day, % hit ratio, etc...
Maybe also if a person contributes a lot of information then they could have their query limit raised or something, I dunno... Personally I don't see myself doing any more than 50 queries a day.
