"Sorry, errors were found."

Hey guys, love the service, but who is the UX genius that writes your error messages?  Just how in the world do you expect someone to interpret the message above?

I am trying to get an API key for a new domain, and the site gives me this error.  I tried entering username for name, with and without the space between the first and the last name.  I tried entering the URL with and without http and https, with and without www, and nothing has worked.  Why do you have to torture people like that?

Re: "Sorry, errors were found."

The latest Google Recaptcha doesn't show in Firefox or derivative browsers. It's not an SFS problem, I've come across it on other sites too.

The quickest resolution is to switch to a Chromium browser (such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge 75+), as the Recaptcha works flawlessly there. If you're on an Apple device, you might try Safari.

But yeah, that error message means "You didn't tick the "I'm not a robot" box." smile

Re: "Sorry, errors were found."

i wrote the UI, but im not a UI writer, and given the budget of $0, I dont think I did too bad to be honest.

I'll have a look at the logic as generic error messages only happen when things go really really wrong.

Re: "Sorry, errors were found."

I'm using Chrome, so it wasn't a captcha issue.

Great, now I can't post.

Had to log connect to a VPN to post this message.  Guys, this is silly.  Established users should not be flagged for spam even if they are unfortunate enough to be forced to use a shitty ISP.  If someone has reported thousands of spammers to Stop Forum Spam, then he is probably not a spammer himself.  These flags should only go off for new accounts.

Good point that.  I'll look at the code today and get something sorted.  From memory, this goes back a long way, back to when xrumer users were using proxies to get keys to poison the db.
