Removal penalties for dnsbl.tornevall.org
For a few days ago, I've got a removal request that showed up to be a returning host, that was removed just 6-7 days before the new request.
That made me think of really implementing a penalty system that I've been holding in my mind since "DNSBLv5" - and now it's in beta state (meaning it's implemented in the development environment of api.tornevall.net).
But before releasing this one, it could be interesting to get some feedback. Just in case. This is the primary information link:
http://docs.tornevall.net/x/OIBu
And the current issue for this small side project is added here:

Re: Removal penalties for dnsbl.tornevall.org
Sir, this may not be the place for it but I've wondered this and sent off a few emails and my ISP (charter.com) has been blacklisted with my IP as a part of a wide-range IP banning thing. 24.x.x.x. It was for email abuse and I was wondering since my IP is listed there is it just a warning and outright ban or what? If this isn't the place I understand just thought I'd send off the message just in case.
Both emails essentially told me it was in place due to large amounts of email spam from a charter IP a while ago and that it would remain in place.

No, no. That's not the block lol. I wasn't sure how much of my own IP address to display. Maybe I should have typed in "2X.x.x.x"

That would have been much worse!
(If you look up your address on one of the whois services, it will usually give you a suitable enclosing range, though TBH you'd be better off discussing your IP address with Tornevall privately. 'Need to know' and all that. This isn't really the right place.)

i do something like this but its not a hard limit. The more reports against a field, the longer it is until I remove it.

Oh and for the record the emails were from me to their website not my emails causing the bans.
