Just wanting to say thanks for the site & service!
I finally got fed up with spam registrations and the old-fashioned way of banning IP address which had limited effectiveness.
I did some digging and discovered trends in bot registrations in regards to required (and optional) fields on our forum. Based on those trends I was able to auto-ban/moderate a considerable amount of bots before they even had a chance to spam my forum.
After some additional tweaking and adding code to check this site (SFS), I've pretty much eliminated spammers from registering!
I just coded in my auto-submit function for definite spammers, so I hope to contribute as much as I can to this site so that others won't have to go through the same headaches.
I do check my banned users daily. It's so much quicker than having to deal with dozens of reported posts every morning!
Thanks again and keep up the good work!

Re: Just wanting to say thanks for the site & service!
I must agree, I run a huge forum and we are getting about 20 to 30 spammers a day! Much quicker using this site and I do add spammers data when nothing shows up here and one gets through the net!
I believe there is a mod I can add to my forum to automate this process, has anyone got this and any advice would be helpful!!
My forum is simple machines forum (SMF)
Thanks
Rob
