Thanks DZone

You may not have noticed (hopefully you didn't), but over the weekend we migrated Stop Forum Spam over to a new server. All of the hardware and bandwidth is provided by the guys at DZone, a large developer community.

This is a great opportunity because although we've struggled with server load and bandwidth on our old host, DZone has the resources to keep us going and help us grow. It also enables us to continue developing the service and offer new features and better reliability.

Rick Ross wrote a blog post about Stop Forum Spam today.

So thanks DZone, be sure and check out their website at www.dzone.com. And thanks to everyone else who has contributed and helped make the project a success.

Re: Thanks DZone

I noticed the site was slow at times, but it was still working!

Congrats on the move and a nice write-up too.

Re: Thanks DZone

Nice post.

I still intend to release the DSIN network to lower the load on this site from my product, if not many others, but congrats. Glad to see you are getting the credit you deserve.

Re: Thanks DZone

Oh, believe me. I noticed. And, it's a good thing. Our forum gets around 100 new members per day and I check them all against your database manually. It's a long story. Anyway, the new site is noticeably faster. It is so much faster, it has changed the way I do things and definitely saves me time. I just came to visit the forum to see if anyone else noticed a performance increase. lol
